When it all started Nimira was told Eris was hunted. She found out Eris was trying to communicate with her to get him out of the automaton’s body. When she looked in to his eyes they were like looking in the big blue ocean and she saw that he was a real person. She realized that Eris communicated to her through the piano to tell her that he was a fairy prince. She didn’t want to be sent away so she kept it a secret.
Towards the end Nimira finally told the secret. Mr. Parry didn’t believe her. Finally Nimira showed him. She had help to make Eris a real person again. But when Mr. Smollings found out he was going to take Nimira and Eris but Mr. Parry and Mr. Smollings then talked it over. Mr. Smollings then only took Eris Even all of that happened Nimira finally saved Eris and Nimira always had feelings for Eris.
This is why I found Magic under Glass surprising.
